Delete Your Account

You can delete your Bruno account and its associated data at any time. This page explains what deletion removes and the two ways to request it.

What Deletion Removes

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your account and sign-in credentials (phone number used for authentication, first name, and pronoun preference)
• All call records, transcripts, and screening history in your account
• Any call recordings still stored for your account (recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days in the normal course, and are removed with your account)
• Any contacts you synced (names and phone numbers uploaded for caller recognition)
• Your push notification tokens and usage statistics
• Your subscription and referral records associated with the account

Deleting your account also releases the virtual phone number assigned to your account. We may retain a limited amount of information where required to comply with legal, tax, or fraud-prevention obligations, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Note: Deleting your Bruno account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Option 1: Delete in the App

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the Bruno app:

• Open Bruno and go to Settings.
• Tap Delete account.
• Confirm when prompted. Your account and data are removed.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email. Send a message to support@brunospeaking.com with:

• Subject: Account deletion request
• Required information: the phone number associated with your Bruno account (we use it to locate and verify your account)

We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when your account and data have been removed. We may contact you to verify your identity before deleting the account.
